For an individual design of the source shielding we offer lead brick and lead plates. The lead bricks are available in various forms. The lead plates are available in a thickness from 0.5 mm up to 90 mm. The usual size is 1000 mm x 1000 mm, but also other formats are available. With lead granulate a shielding can be constructed by filling stable metal or plastic boxes with this material. Furthermore the hollow parts of the Mössbauer benches can be filled with lead granulate in order to increase the weight and to reduce by this way the vibration. The granulate has usually grains with a diameter of 0.5 mm or 0.75.
