Digital Function Generator

The Digital Function Generators DFG-1200 provides the Mössbauer Driving System with the reference signal, which determines the waveform of the source motion. The signal is generated digitally. This results in a source motion, which is completely synchronous to the channel sweep of the multichannel analyser

CONSTANT VELOCITY (with 5 - 10 - 20 - 40% slope)

REGION-OF-INTEREST (continously adjustable)


The REGION-OF-INTEREST wave form is shown in the figure below. Sinusoidal slopes result in a minimum of vibration disturbance of the source motion. The REGION-OF-INTEREST waveform can be varied continously from CONSTANT VELOCITY to CONSTANT ACCELERATION (TRIANGLE) mode.
