RiKon-5 LNC Liquid Nitrogen Cryostat
The  RiKon-5 LNC Liquid Nitrogen Cryostat  has a chamber for liquid N2 sourrounding the CEMS detector with walls of  cellular material.
The holding time of the N2 content is several hours if the detector is not heated. A level sensor can be used for an automatic N2 refilling.
The g-radiation (griechischer Buchstabe Gamma) enters the cryostat through a window in the bottom. For entering the CEMS detector the radiation has to penetrate only a short distance of foam plastic.
Gas and high voltage are fed to the detector through openings in the top cover.
